Grace Church, Gore

Grace Church, Gore, is a church open to all people who want to learn more about God, to know God and to be a part of God’s people. We are a family church that seeks to be a shining light for God in the Gore district through outreach and care for our community and we love to share the message of Jesus with those who don’t yet know him.

If you don’t go to church anywhere but are interested to see what its all about, you are very welcome to come along on a Sunday anytime. You won’t be asked to do anything odd, but are welcome to come and see what we are about.

We believe that the message of the Bible is summed up well by Jesus’ words in John chapter 3, that, “God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” It’s our desire to preach Jesus message that many more may come to find their sins forgiven and to have peace with God forever.

During the week we currently have a ladies Bible study on Wednesday mornings, a mens and ladies study Wednesday nights, Wednesday morning Zoom Prayer meeting, and also a Youth Group (11-17yrs) every alternate Friday night (Contact us for the locations of these as we often just meet at someone’s house rather than the church building).

We are part of the Grace Presbyterian Church of NZ, which helps keep us accountable and supported, and we love to be part of this wider body of God’s people spread around NZ.
